  • We travelled to the Lot Valley to see the prehistoric cave paintings at Pech Merle, an experience that was powerful beyond words. They do not allow photos inside the cave. The cliffs of Cabrerets, the village nearest to the caves, are lined with the ruins of a medieval castle.
