NYC based photographer extraordinaire Emily Johnston visits with renowned textile artist, Shabd Simon-Alexander‘s adopted plants. Her clothing line, shabd, is carried in high-end boutiques and art museums around the world. The collection is produced locally in NYC’s garment district, and fabrics are dyed by hand in the Brooklyn studio.
